Mohd Shahizan Othman is a seasoned Senior Lecturer with nearly 15 years of academic service in the Department of Information Systems at UTM. He boasts a rich background encompassing teaching, research, publications, professional services, consulting, and administrative roles. As the Deputy Director (Computing) at CICT since October 1, 2015, he plays a pivotal role in technology management. Shahizan holds degrees in Computer Science and Information Technology, including a Ph.D. in Information Science. His contributions extend beyond academia; he’s developed the Graduate Studies Management System (GSMS) and authored ten educational books. His work enhances UTM’s educational resources in Malay Language, benefiting students, lecturers, and readers alike.
