About Us
Introduction
The goal of INFOBEE Research Group is to promote research in information engineering and behavioral informatics to manage variety and vast amount of data from diverse resources. We focus on issues related to managing, mining and retrieving structured and unstructured data from large-scale databases for the usage of digital societies.
Research Area
- Information Management and Retrieval: Deal with data and text from social media, WWW, enterprise scale Information Systems applications and digital libraries. It focuses on technologies such as Semantic Web and Ontology to facilitate text processing, text summarization and information extraction.
- Data, Text and Opinion Mining for Knowledge Discovery: The research area does not restrict to the computational aspect of the mining tasks but it also covers human aspect involves in the interpretation of knowledge obtained from the mining process to propose optimal solution and give insightful manner for strategic decision-making in data analytics and business intelligence framework.
- Informatics Innovation in Digital Society: The research area aims at developing new informatics tools and services which are optimal, flexible yet robust in scalable and sustainable environment for the benefit of societies in various domains such as health, biology, engineering and education.
