To combat plagiarism and maintain integrity within the Final Year Projects (PSM), the PSM comittee has decided to enforce a Turnitin submission rule, that all students (and SV) must adhere to. Supervisors are urged to help and guide students through this.
The rule states : ” All chapters in the PSM report must have a maximum of 20% similarity percentage per chapter. Any students with reports exceeding this number will not be allowed to present.”
Students can get a Turnitin account from PSZ (Sultanah Zanariah Library) UTM, or have your supervisor(s) help you out. The assessment form will be amended to reflect this.
