ABOUT PRISMS

The Program Integrasi Ijazah Sarjana Muda – Sarjana (PRISMS) is an accelerated academic pathway designed for high-achieving undergraduate students. This unique program allows students to integrate their undergraduate studies with Master’s coursework, providing an opportunity to complete both degrees within five years (4 years for the Bachelor’s degree and 1 year for the Master’s degree).
 
Students enrolled in the PRISMS program can take selected SECx5##3 elective courses during their final year undergraduate studies. If they achieve a grade of B or better, they are eligible for vertical credit transfer when they proceed to one of the following Master’s programs:

However, students must apply and be accepted into the PRISMS program before enrolling in the elective courses (refer lists of PRISMS courses below).

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Students must have completed their 3rd year 2nd semester with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.3 or above.
  2. Candidates must be recommended by their Academic Advisor to apply for the program.

PRISMS offers a significant advantage for students who wish to fast-track their education, reduce overall study time, and enhance their career prospects in fields such as data science, cybersecurity, and computer science.

*Students are required to take SECR3443 Introduction to Cryptography (pre-requisite for SECR5013)

# Students are required to take SECR3413 Computer Security (pre-requisite for SECR5043)

Note: Students who are interested in continuing in this program are encouraged to take all THREE courses (to be eligible to transfer 9 credits)
