21 April 2026 – Faculty of Computing hosted a student engagement session with Lenovo, a global technology company known for its innovation in computers, devices, and digital solutions. The program, held online, is an engaging career readiness session aimed at helping students prepare for the transition from university to the professional world.
The session featured valuable sharing by representatives from Lenovo on key topics such as resume writing, interview preparation, workplace communication, and professional etiquette. Students gained practical insights into employer expectations and the realities of professional life, making the session both relevant and beneficial for those preparing to enter the workforce. The interactive sharing also gave students the opportunity to reflect on how they present themselves professionally, both in written communication and in person.
The faculty would like to extend its sincere appreciation to the Lenovo team for their time, support, and meaningful sharing throughout the programme. We also thank all students who participated and contributed to the session’s positive atmosphere. It is hoped that programmes such as this will continue to strengthen industry-academia engagement and support students in becoming more career-ready, confident, and professional graduates.
