Malang, Indonesia – February 20, 2024. Universitas Negeri Malang (UM), Indonesia hosted a workshop titled “Transforming University Website Excellence: Innovative Design, Development, and Proactive Management Strategies” with the goal of revolutionizing its digital landscape. In collaboration with the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), the workshop successfully gathered more than 70 participants, including technical staff, web designers, and web developers. This transformation event, comprising speeches and practical workshops, was led by Associate Professor Dr. Nor Azman Ismail from the Faculty of Computing, UTM, in collaboration with Mr. Mohd Sharul Hafiz from the Department of UTM Digital. The workshop chair and moderator, Professor Dr. Hadi Nur from the Universitas Negeri Malang, played a crucial role in guiding discussions and ensuring that the content was relevant and tailored to UM’s specific needs. The workshop’s opening ceremony was concluded by UM’s Vice Rector for Research, Community Service, and Innovation, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Munjin Nasih. He emphasized the importance of staying at the forefront of digital progress and praised UM’s commitment to improving the university’s digital landscape. The workshop covered important topics such as unveiling the current digital university landscape, key factors influencing the quality of university websites, website design to support global university rankings, and enhancing digital academic presence through branding, visibility, and research.
